The sales staff of Brandis Tallman provides brokerage services to individual and institutional municipal bond investors. Our public finance division generates new issues of municipal bonds for our trading and sales staff to offer to our investor clients, including individual investors, mutual fund groups, insurance companies, bank trust departments and investment advisors.

Our active trading desk participates in the secondary market to buy and sell a wide variety of municipal paper including general obligation bonds, Certificates of Participations, 1915 Act assessment bonds, Mello-Roos special tax bonds, Marks-Roos revenue bonds, tax allocation redevelopment bonds, water and sewer revenue bonds, housing revenue bonds and tax and revenue anticipation notes.

Our experienced sales persons are experts in tax-exempt securities and provide a thorough discussion of our offerings suited to the investor’s portfolio. Due diligence and credit research are our most important considerations for wealth preservation and liquidity for individual investor clients.

Business Continuity Plan    Our firm has made plans for dealing with various emergencies which may interrupt our ability to serve our clients. These emergencies include not only local fire, flood or power outage, but also a local or national disaster affecting the nation’s economy and financial markets. Our main goal, if such an emergency should occur, would be to provide our clients with ready access to their funds and securities held with our firm. In a most expeditious way, we would make every effort to resume normal operations. Time required to recover would be dependent upon the severity of the emergency. Critical information concerning our firm and our clients’ accounts, are duplicated in multiple locations to facilitate speedy recovery of service.
